‘Product of the Year’ Title Obliges 
In autumn 2008 the furniture company LAUKSVA has presented to competition ‘Product of the Year’ arranged by Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists the upholstered furniture set DANIELA. Responses of architects and customers, specifications of the product, functionality and design make up the entire range of assessment criteria, which the product presented for competition, must conform to. Advantages of DANIELA set have been assessed by the commission, which has presented the furniture set for nominations as follows: · Functionality – function of sleeping, box for bed-clothes or removable upholstery, which may be cleaned or washed; · Broad complete set – from a pouf, armchair, sofa to a cushioned corner set; · Exclusive design – delicate furniture forms are heightened by the one whole chromed foot; · Modern technologies – convertible Bonelli-typed mattress for sleeping, the product of new generation produced in Italy; · Favourable assessment by architects and customers. On December 18th, 2008 V. Adamkus, President of the Republic of Lithuania, and B. Lubys, President of LCI presented to LAUKSVA, UAB, the ‘Product of the Year of 2008’ silver medal awarded for DANIELA upholstered furniture set. The team of the Company was happy to get such assessment. Seeking not only to endue modern forms to the furniture and to guarantee the modern technologies as well as quality, but also paying attention to human needs and assuming responsibility to customers are those principles, which are followed by the team in their work. LAUKSVA Company, currently obliged by the high assessment, turns a new page in its activities – makes preparations for the international furniture show, which is to be arranged in Vilnius in March, where the Company is going to present its new works. May be one of such works will be awarded and by the gold medal this time...
